Then, look through the volume of translated Catullus poetry that I have left under this note. Select the 4-8 poems you as a class want to work with for our Guitar Composition project. Keep in mind that you will submit, as your midterm 1. a literal translation and 2. a 'literary' translation of one or two poems. Mr Krauss' class is larger than ours so we will pair your poems with more than one student. Also, keep in mind that Love and Betrayal is the theme, and yet, some of the students we will be working with will be in ninth and tenth grades, and thus, not quite where you're at in terms of maturity.
