Carry on with your translating through 99. We'll make sure we cover this carefully. If, when your reading it aloud to yourself, and it sounds 'clunky,' Catullus is probably playing with the meter. Remember the lines we scanned today and ask yourself if some of those apparently short syllables could be spondees...?
