Instructions for Preparing a Translation

I strongly encourage you to read your passage three times, working to construe it without the aid of a dictionary--even the notes on the side! If you present me with a card or log or some evidence that you've done this with parent initials, I will award you one extra credit point!

Then, if you prepare written translations (most people do), record it in your journal/binder/compbook, and please skip one or two lines. Make it a practice, because there will always be corrections and variations you will want to record.
