Periculum on Cat Carm 64. One passage of about 15 lines continuous, from ll 50-176. There will be two extracts to scan as well, for 5 points each, totalling 25 points overall.
We will also do an in-class workshop of researching etymologies through Latin Greek and Indo-European roots.
You're free to work ahead in your translation of Carm 64, but with these two activities planned, it's unlikely that we'll get much further than line 191 if we have time.
